At ABC Ascot Avenue we aim to provide the best quality child care and education for children in the greater Remuera area and to provide an environment to cater for the needs of all children. We are situated within a short walk of the Remuera Shopping Centre and close to Ellerslie, the Greenlane Motorway roundabout and on the main arterial road from Orakei and Mission Bay to the Motorway.
We encourage the healthy development of physical, emotional, intellectual and social skills.
We have a diverse teaching programme, along with age-specific resources that support the children to learn and develop to their full potential. We value children as confident, competent learners and communicators. We believe that interactive relationships between children and adults form the basis of a positive self-image for children.

"I cannot speak highly enough of the teachers at Ascot. Mihiri has been the remaining constant in our girls lives. Despite the many changes that we've seen at the centre and staff that have moved on Mihiri has been amazing. She is amazing with the children and we are so grateful to have had someone so caring and dedicated in our girls lives. The trust and rapport we have with Mihiri is wonderful and she does a fantastic job in her role as teacher and when she has in charge responsibilities. She has always been open and forthcoming with communication and it has made such a difference to our daycare experience. Claire has also done an amazing job, she is just such a lovely person to deal with and both of the girls adore her. More recently with Gail joining the team in the over 2's room - what an amazing lady! She had such a huge influence on Eva's life - we are still hearing 'Gail tales'. Gail has certainly influenced our daughter to sound wiser beyond her years - I'm often told by Eva to drink more water or I'll get dehydrated.... Or conversations that start with 'Gail says...' - its great to hear. Gail is such a wonderful teacher who is so thoughtful to each child's individual needs and spirit. With her fairy dust close at hand her magic way with children has been so lovely to see and has had such a hugely positive impact. Celine in the baby room has been so fabulous. Maré absolutely adores her - as do we, and she has made the transition to daycare for her a seamless one. Maré has multiple allergies coupled with hay-fever that as parents did make us initially nervous about daycare. Celine was so great from Maré's first daycare visit and ensures she eats an appropriate and varied diet (Celine loves to get loads of protein into her!) and it is so comforting to know that someone so dedicated and caring is looking after her. To see Maré almost fly into Celine's arms when she gets to daycare and then be calling 'bye bye' and waving as she leaves is really touching. I just wanted to share with you what a great team of teachers they are and how as parents we have had no reservations about recommending the centre and the care delivered by them." - March 2013
