Early Years Connolly Street is a quality childcare centre in Lower Hutt for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The centre is based in two spacious houses which stand side by side and are situated on full sections with impressive, large, spacious outdoor play areas.
At 21 Connolly Street our Infant and Toddlers Centre provides education and care for up to 22 children. 19 Connolly St is our Preschool Centre right next door and provides education and care for up to 30 children.
We have a wonderful time here with the children leading them through fun educational challenges, sharing laughs, good times and successes along the way. We aim to provide the children with a wide variety of experiences setting them up with solid foundations for learning and life skills.
Our friendly and nurturing teachers offer a stimulating programme designed to extend children’s development at all ages, including an early literacy and numeracy programme for the older children.

My little girl has learned so much since she has been at Connolly St. She is talking so well and so interested in everything and can’t wait to get there in the morning. She gets such a good variety with all the outside play, sandpit, vege garden, water play, painting and all the toys, books, musical instruments and everything else for inside play. All kinds of stuff she can’t do at home! On top of that, everyone there always seems to know what each of the kids are getting up to and how their day has been and it’s even all written down with stories and pictures in a folder.
