Edukids Delamain is a purpose built centre designed with the children/nga tamariki in mind. Our centre has a warm welcoming homely environment with happy children/nga tamariki who are experiencing quality care and education. Our physical environment gives both inside and outside excitement enabling children/nga tamariki to grow and learn to their full potential.
We believe that every child/tamariki deserves the best care and learning opportunities, within a carefully planned environment. This ensures your child/tamariki can grow in a supportive atmosphere.
For this reason we have four classrooms that cater for the differing developmental stages of children/nga tamariki. These are a 3 month – 2 year old nursery, a 2 - 3 year old toddler room, a 3 – 4 year old preschool room and a 4 - 5 year old prep room with a transition to school programme with extension experiences that prepare children/nga tamariki for the transition to primary school. Each area is richly resourced with a wide range of equipment that is developmentally and individually appropriate for each differing age and stage.
We believe in creating a well balanced and safe environment for children/nga tamariki and their families/whanau to ensure they feel relaxed and secure.
Our childcare centre has a passionate teaching team who strive to provide a programme that is child/tamariki initiated, based on current individual and group interests, needs and developmental stages. This offers the opportunity to not only have fun, but to enhance the total development and skills of each child/tamariki and build a sense of belonging.
Our learning programme is based on Te Whaāriki (The Early Childhood Curriculum) while incorporating a solid understanding of today’s educational approaches.Our centre and wider community are an integral part of our culture. We encompass the rich diversities within our community believing that everyone brings something unique and exciting to our centre.
