Our centre is approximately 10 minutes from the centre of Christchurch. This warm, home-like environment serves as an exceptional area to offer our quality care and educational programme for children 3 months to 5 years.
Each room has been huge upgraded recently and designed with our little ones in mind. Our warm, home-like environment gives the children a sense of security and we have formed great relationships with our families and local community. We have been part of the community for many years and is well respected.
Our daily programme is combined Self-Directed time and Group time with support of a teacher as we believe children should have the opportunity to learn alone and with interaction with adults. We provide the ‘Preparation school programme’ for supporting smooth transition to school.
The special character of our centre is that meals are provided. Morning tea and afternoon tea consists of sandwiches or scones with fruit. Hot cooked meals are prepared each day by our cook. Vegetables and fruits will be pureed for the babies. We try accommodating most special dietary needs of the children. Not only food allergies, we also respect cultural food-diversity in all different societies.
