Edukids Styx Mill Nursery and Preschool is a purpose built centre offering what we believe is the highest standard of education and care within the ECE sector.
We are located in the heart of the Northwood sub-division, Christchurch. Our high quality childcare centre programme is designed to provide a warm caring environment where children feel safe and valued as an individual.
Our aim is to give generously all of our time, understanding, care and praise to all children that enter our doors. We do more than just care for your child, we focus on how to support their development and learning.
Styx Mill Nursery and Preschool caters for children from 3 months to 5 years of age. We have a Nursery to care for the children aged 3 months - 2years, Preschool 2-3½ years and Prep school 3½ to 5years.
Our team of qualified and experienced teachers provide and maintain an excellent reputation for well organized, aesthetically pleasing facilities where you will be happy to leave your children, knowing they will receive the highest quality care and education.
Our programmes are planned for all children and our teachers are skilled at observing and encouraging a child’s learning. Portfolios on each child are kept at the centre which parents can look through and take home as often as you would like.

parents can see their daily happenings

Edukids Styxmill Foundation School
Welcome to the Styxmill Foundation School. Our
beautiful purpose built centre caters for children aged 3 - 5years and
runs a programme which lays the foundations for school. Our team of
qualified, passionate teachers support children to develop skills such
as name recognition, pre-literacy skills, independence and social
competencys by following and extending their current interests. The
children actively participate in enquiry learning and the teachers are
enthusiastic about nurturing the children to become confident and
competent learners.

just wanted to let you know how very very happy I am with my wee girls
preschool – she goes to Edukids at Styx mill – Foundation school, Abby
started there not very long ago – but has settled in well with the help
of Emma and her team.. its been great watching her grow and develop
since she has been there – Emma has been amazing with her.. Changing to
