Welcome to First Steps Everglade Preschool. We welcome you to come and visit our centre and have a guided tour through
our culturally rich and stimulating learning environment. We are open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and
have children in our care form 2 to 5 years. We have a sister centre

First Steps
Everglade Preschool has a team of qualified teachers who
are dedicated in preparing children to become life long learners. We are a centre that prides ourselves on providing a quality service.
Parent and community links are very strong here and this can be seen in many of
the programmes we provide.
We have a well established getting ready for school program which all
the children are involved in. We also have a buddy program where the children gets to regularly visit Everglade Primary every
Wednesday afternoons during the school term. Click here for more information on Transition to School.
Over the last year First Steps Everglade Preschool has really stepped up
to the mark receiving the Gold Healthy Heart Award (View our menu here!), receiving top marks in the Kidicorp Quality Education
and Care Evaluation Document (click here to see
report) and also recognised by Kidicorp Management receiving the “Living
the Values Award, to top it all off the centre was successful in being awarded
the Trust Mark Award in all three categories.
