Quality Hamilton child care, highly recommended by parents, for happy confident learners
Montessori @ the School House is a quality childcare centre at 7 Bains Avenue, in Hamilton East. It is close to the Waikato University, Claudeland’s Show grounds and local businesses.
The centre is based within a renovated villa to accommodate the Montessori philosophy. Our qualified teachers work hard to incorporate many cultures from within the centre, around the world and are respectful of different languages and celebrations.

Parent Feedback:
"To all the lovely teachers at Montessori @ the School House. Sahil started school in April and I just want to say that without the great foundation he received at the School House, he would have never settled in so well! I was a bit apprehensive but all my fears were dispelled once he started school. He proved to me that his early childhood learning gave him the confidence he needed for his transition to school. I was also really amazed at his progress in reading, within months he was reading with great enthusiasm and confidence! Well done to all the teachers!" - May 2012
"Dear Mamira, Rosemary, Jacqui, Helen, Janine, Linda, Vasanthy and Sek.. the wonderful teachers at Montessori! Thank you for the careful and compassionate care you have taken at Rupert during his time with you. We are very proud of the person our son is becoming and we know how much his growth is due to each of you. His love of learning and active interest in this world is your gift, one that he will carry through his life. Rupert will miss Montessori greatly. And Dean and I will miss the pleasure of visiting a group of such lovely, happy and calm children. We will miss also chatting to all of you, your insightful comments, sound advice and fantastic Christmas Plays! Best of luck and aroha to each of you for the future." - May 2012
"My family are excited that Summer is in an environment that is great for her learning. Participating as she has a disability, the structured learning process enhances her ability to learn in a focused manner. More importantly the "teachers" style displays patience, consistency and care. These have been qualities essential to Summer's progress. There is a diverse cultural aspect in the school, which I believe is a unique feature here. We look forward to a happy progressive future."- April 2012
"My husband Steve and I are very impressed with what Montessori @ the School House offers our 4 year our daughter, Christina. We love the sunny and welcoming environment and how children are given the opportunity to express themselves and develop their own unique personality. The teachers are great, they inspire and teach children to be engaged with different activities. We have noticed Christina's confidence and personality developed. Thank you!" - January 2012
