Topkids Turangi is
a brand new, purpose built Centre that caters for 50 children up to the age of
5 years old.
We have an Under
Two and Over Two area within the Centre which is fitted with quality equipment
and resources to promote children’s learning and development, click here to see our Centre Philosophy.
Our Under Two area
provides a nurturing environment where daily routines are personalized to the
individual child. Our teachers and
children develop healthy attachments that enable the children to discover their
world through a variety of sensory learning experiences.
In our Over Two
area our energetic teachers provide an environment where they support children
to develop through the dispositions of taking responsibility, persisting with
difficulty, being involved, communication and expressing ideas and feelings,
and taking an interest. Through these
dispositions the children develop strategies to become life long learners.
As part of our
planning, our teacher’s identify the children’s fascinations and provide
teaching strategies and resources to foster these. Check out our planning framework.
